Rebecca Rodriguez, Soprano, holds a Master’s degree from the University of Southern California. Her career includes opera, church music, orchestra, television, radio, and movie sound tracks. She has recorded for television and radio commercials in Spanish and sung on the Spanish translated soundtrack for the Walt Disney movie Babes in Toyland. She appeared as soloist with the L.A. Zarzuela Orchestra, presenting U.S. premiers of compositions by Latin composers. She has served in numerous church settings as cantor, choir member and soloist. In 1987, Rebecca was the principle cantor during the Papal visit at the Los Angeles Coliseum. She has also performed with award winning virtuoso accordionist, Nick Ariondo.
Ms. Rodriguez has won awards from Opera Guild of Southern California, the Viktor Fuchs Scholarship Auditions, Mu Phi Epsilon International Music Fraternity and the Los Angeles Hispanic Women's Council. She was on the voice faculty for the Pasadena City College-After School Music Conservatory. She continues to teach voice by maintaining a private studio.
